#WMOOTD: March Review
April has rolled up and smacked us full force with pollen and warmer weather. I’m here for it and equipped with Claritin and new looks. I’ve decided that posting a round up of the March’s looks would be a fun review of the outfits I put together for events and regular degular life. #1:Politics of Fashion with American Daughters
The Politics of Fashion Panel with American Daughters was an amazing event. We really, as a panel and guests, got to have an unfiltered conversation about our relationships with fashion and how it relates to our relationships, self image, upbringing and daily life. Panelists included: Geena Mericle, Simone Sharda, Joyce Smith & myself
I made a tee from scuba knit and power mesh. The leopard print came from my fabric stash that stays plentiful with remnants from JoAnn. I printed the other fabric in studio and reimagined fabrics from previous projects to make this happen. I paired it with vintage leather pants, a pair of Nike Sky Hi Dunks and a pair of WM earrings…new acrylic accessory design I’m working on!
One of those nights when I felt like pushing past a trusty pair of leggings and oversized tee…still made it a hat day because who has time for doing hair. I’m obsessed with this cabbie style hat though, definitely need to get a few more to throw into the mix.
